Nero is registered with the National Greyhound Association.  He is a retired racing greyhound.  I have wanted a greyhound for as long as I can remember but always had to wait because the time was not right.   Now I finally have my dream dog and he is everything I ever dreamed of.

Please note that Greyhounds do get heart worm.  Some rescues suggest otherwise but Nero has tested positive for heart worm!  Nero is also suffering from kidney failure!  Do not adopt from any rescue that does not heart worm test and provide proper vet care.  Go see the dogs and their living conditions before adopting.  Contact other rescues and the local SPCA for references.   Rescues should not have dogs infested with fleas, worms and looking like walking skeletons.   This is not rescuing; it is abuse!

 Nero will never be forgotten and he will be missed by all who knew him.  Run free and run fast my angel until we meet again.  Ariel and you can keep each other company!  We will always remember your kind nature and loving attitude.  There was none better then you!
